About the role: The Training Manager will be a key member of the Operations/ Training team responsible for overall management of the training programs at TIIS. Responsibilities - Technical & coordination responsibilities of end-to-end training administration at TATA IIS Mumbai - Act as an advisor to the management on relevant skills-based training programs that we can offer at TIIS. - Align training programs with TIIS's long term vision and goals. - Continually research methods and techniques in training and remain up to date on developments within the industries that we support in training. - Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training. - Form strong partnerships with various organizations in industries where TIIS skill-based programs are relevant. - Lead a team of training instructors, engagement & placement managers, and mobilization associates to achieve the training objectives set by TIIS. - Provide inputs on budget utilization and assist in report creation. - Management of vendors for various training requirements. - Ensuring that all successful trainees are placed in leading organizations. Education, Skills and/or Work Experience Requirements: - Graduate Engineer (or equivalent) with 10-15 years- experience in Manufacturing - Should have involvement and responsibilities in Training. - Candidates within the age group of 35-40 are preferred. - Specialisation in Mechatronics & Industrial automation is preferred. - Track record in designing and executing successful training programs. - Good networking & team building skills. - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on TIIS's success.
