Role objective: Ongoing development and implementation of procurement strategies for all aspects of Logistics spend within Asia including spend analysis, strategy development, mid-term and annual business planning, initiative implementation and optimizing supply chain. Key Responsibilities: - Including spend analysis, strategy development, mid-term and annual business planning and initiative implementation - Cost savings by managing demand, challenging specification, optimizing supply chains, seeking process and product improvement, negotiating price and consolidating supply with other Tata businesses - Preparing tenders, negotiating, drafting and implementing contracts, developing opportunities for supply chain integration and cost savings. - Supplier Relationship Management and performance improvement. - Supporting the development of procurement processes and policy, ensuring full compliance to P2P and Procurement standards. Desired Candidate Profile: - Challenging the status quo, and finding innovative solutions to business challenges - Good team-working, multi-tasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to perform under pressure. - Analytical bend of mind - Business Acumen - Negotiating &amp; influencing skills Desired Experience Level &amp; Qualifications: - B Tech (mandatory) with MBA Operations desirable - Overall 6-7 yrs. experience with 2-3 yrs. exposure to operations - Proficiency in handling SAP/ERP tools
