Job Description: Role Objectives: This position will lead the 3P foods operations & and ensure deliveries within agreed timelines for foods business Key Responsibilities: - Identify new 2P/3P vendors and bring them on-board following the process as per business requirements. - Identify NPD food products along with the R&D, Marketing, Sales, and procurement teams starting from ideation stage to commercial production. - Timely & smooth execution of New Projects while coordinating with the internal and external stakeholders. - Ensure that 3P/2P units complies with the terms and conditions of the Quality standards to achieve adherence to specified quality levels. - Ensuring Foods 3P/2P Operations and deliveries within agreed timelines. - Development and implementation of policy and strategies on vendor selection, vendor development, price negotiations, inventory management, SRM & contractual coverage. - Review safety, health, hygiene, and other compliances (Food safety) - Develop standardized Infrastructure and Processes for 3P. Close all Non -conformations within the stipulated time frame at all 3P sites. (HACCP and Food Safety Audits). - Development of New Units/Facilities (3P/2P) for NPD (Foods Division) as per strategic calls. - Regularly scan the environment for new potential sites. - Monitor and review operations at 3P/2P sites, maintain high level of food safety management system within organizational guidelines to ensure smooth contract manufacturing operations as per the budgeted sales plan. - Networking with Industry to understand on overall costings of Operations for NPD's and its improvement opportunities. - Development and Implementation of 3P processes, ensuring policies and Negotiations as per contracts. - Techno commercial negotiations and capacity planning for foods manufacturing - Negotiate and close annual rates / finalizing new rates with 3P/2P vendors - Ensure stock audits are completed as per calendar and closed within the stipulated timeline - Completion of Vendor SLA & Vendor Satisfaction Surveys Desired Candidate Profile: - Business knowledge about foods and beverages industry; Commercial acumen, Negotiation skills, stakeholder management, Handling Audits - Strong analytic and problem-solving skills Desired Experience Level & Qualifications: - B.Tech. /B.E. (MBA - Added advantage - 15+ years of relevant experience in FMCG , preferably Food & Beverages industry - Min 6+ years exp in managing 3P/2P manufacturers at multiple sites independently
