Tata Communications - Manager - Corporate Strategy - Product & Software Development

Position Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Product Developer with strong product creator mindset & vision to envisage product features with a strong background in software development and an MBA degree. Your responsibilities will encompass conceptualizing new products, strategic decision-making, market analysis with focus on execution.

Responsibilities :

Product Strategy Planning & Execution:

- Contribute to the development of product strategies aligned with market trends, customer needs, and business goals.

- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks in the product landscape

- Define product requirements, features, and user stories based on market demand and customer feedback

- Lead and manage software development projects from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, and adherence to project milestone

- Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate efforts and deliver successful projects.

Business Analysis:

- Apply your business acumen to analyse market trends, customer behaviours competitor analysis and financial data to make informed product development decisions.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that software solutions align with strategic business objectives.

Software development:

- Proven experience in Full Stack Development or similar role

- Proven experience developing web and mobile applications

- Proven experience deploying large scale cloud-based applications and API based services

- Familiarity with common technology stacks across web and mobile applications

- Sound knowledge of solution architectures and design

- Proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, Bootstrap)

- Experience in multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, VUE, Node.js)

- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache, NGINX) and UI/UX design

- Proficiency in native mobile application development (Android, iOS)

- Proven experience with cloud platforms and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure)

- Familiarity with API management platforms (e.g., Kong, WSO2)

- Experience working with GitHub and Jira

- Experience working with networking and security related products will be a plus

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from an accredited institution.

- Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, version control, and deployment processes.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering software projects on time and within scope.

- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Experience with agile development practices and tools is a plus.

- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and user-centered development is advantageous.
