Proposed Immediate Superior : Head- Credit Underwriting

Criticality of Role : Critical : Work has direct measurable impact on business and growth of the company

Key Objectives of the Job : Implement & Manage the entire credit processes and systems for Infrastructure Project Finance business

Major Deliverables :

- Detailed due diligence and evaluation of Infrastructure Finance proposals for both short term and long term facilities

- Owning and managing a portfolio of customers and transactions to meet the requisite credit quality parameters

- Financial modelling and evaluation of financial projections on various parameters to be able to take decision on big-ticket transactions

- Monitoring delinquency & corrective action - undertake regular interaction with other departments to track delinquencies

- Deal structuring and credit enhancement

- Working in an integrated manner with other teams of the organization to maximize efficiency in evaluation of deals

- Be an industry expert in the Infrastructure Finance business, capable of understanding and meeting customers- latent needs

Job Challenge :

- Maintaining the right balance of efficiency in turnaround vs detailed due diligence on a case to case basis

- Understanding nuances of Infrastructure Finance business models in various sectors of Infrastructure Finance

- Developing a detailed understanding of the sector and transactions and then communicating and convincing the different stakeholders for investing in the transaction

- Understanding of Financials statements and financial models

Desirable Attributes :

- Any prior work experience in financial services industry

- Any prior work experience in infrastructure development sector(s) leading to a good understanding of the sector(s)

Educational Qualification : C.A / CFA / MBA

Desired Experience : 4+ years- experience (preferably in Credit / Risk functions)
