Key Objective of the Job :

- As part of the central corporate legal team, advising businesses and functions on legal issues

Major Deliverables :

- Advise the various lending business verticals and corporate functions (like IT, HR, Corporate Communications, etc.) on legal and regulatory aspects and resolving their queries

- Drafting & vetting of contracts

- Interpretation of laws and regulations and advising on their applicability

- Analyzing changes in applicable laws and regulations and advising on their impact to the company

- Representing to government and regulators on bringing about changes based on challenges faced

Specialized job competencies:

- Thorough understanding of laws and regulations applicable to NBFCs for the activities of lending to corporate and retail segments

- Good knowledge of laws relating to human resources and Information Technology

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent drafting skills

- Updated knowledge of changes in laws, regulations and judicial pronouncements

Educational Qualification :

- LLB (preferably 5 year course from a reputed institution / LLM

- CS degree will be an added advantage

Desired Experience :

- Minimum Five years experience in legal Department of NBFC, Bank or a reputed law firm
