Key Objective of the Job:

- Litigation Monitoring in Corporate Lending

Major Deliverables:

- Support and follow up of Litigation /Arbitration in liaison with Advocates for and against the Company.

- Drafting, vetting of Statement of Claims, Winding Up Petition, Affidavit of Evidence, Written statement and all documents/ petitions /applications to be filed before court/arbitrator and other forums.

- Initiating Arbitration action against defaulting Customers, Sec.138 action, Filing Sec.9 petition, appearing before Arbitrator, obtention of award and enforcement thereof.

- Engaging and briefing Senior counsels

- Defending suits/petitions filed against TCL

- Assisting the Legal In-Charge / Business the nuances of the deal from legal point of view.

- Contributing and taking initiatives in studying various deals already done and putting up for review.

- Legal strategizing

Specialized job competencies:

- Familiar with court procedure and practices in Mumbai

- Experience in Arbitration

- Banking Product and Operations would be an added advantage.

- Legal Aspects of Loan & Investment Products

- Litigation experience

- Good team player

Educational Qualification:

- LLB / LLM with a minimum of 7+ yrs of Experience in Corporate Lending/Litigation Legal team

Desired Experience:

- Experience of having worked in Asset Recovery /Stressed Management

- lf & the team

- Litigation Experience.

- Computer literate in MS Office

- Proficient in both spoken and written English

- Should be open to new ideas and bring Best Practices to the organization
