Key Objective of the Job :

- Preparation of Industry and Corporate assessment reports after analysis of data and information from external and internal sources

Major Deliverables :

- Understand the requirements of Commercial Finance and other user groups through discussions/meetings with peers and customers

- Searching and verification of information on industries and companies using secondary and primary sources

- Organisation of data and compilation of facts

- Analysis of corporate financial statements

- Understanding the links between financial numbers and ratios and, the situation and prospects of the company and industry

- Formulation of a forward-looking view on the industry and the company

- Communication of reports using Excel / Word / PPT and presentation of the same to the users

Specialized job competencies :

- Sound knowledge of financial statements, accounting and, financial analysis

- Ability to grasp the key concepts and link them to financial numbers

- Knowledge of forecasting techniques and valuation methods

- Efficient communication in written and spoken English

Educational Qualifications :

- Graduate with a post-graduate qualification in Business Management / CFA / CA (exceptional cases without post-graduate qualifications may be considered if they have demonstrated skill and experience in the specialized job competencies)

Desired Experience :

- 3 years experience with a credit rating firm, consulting firm, equity research team or KPO with all or some of the KRAs in our position

- Specialization in more than one industry

- Experience in writing reports and presentation to Rating Committee / Clients

Other desired attributes :

- Ability to grasp quant concepts and to implement activities based on these concepts
