TATA AIG Insurance Job Purpose: A Zone Head is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all respectively zone operations, including staff hiring, training, and supervision. They come up with appropriate strategies to increase productivity and performance levels in order to achieve the zone's financial targets. Principal Accountabilities: - Market intelligence and effective implementation - Formulating and finalizing region specific marketing strategies for incremental sales in closed discussion with the Supervisor and the HOD. - Drive business in alignment with the Annual Budget - Acquiring new sources of Business, Majorly Agents - Coach & guide agents to cross sell and grow their business - Ensuring IRDA compliance regarding licensing & commission payments to agents. - Training need identification - Identification of business challenges - Training Agents on USP, process and products - Similar Training to be provided for Internal - Stakeholders - Channel sales Managers and Branch Managers - Coordination for smooth process Management - This would be done through follow ups, coordination with other stakeholders for approvals, payouts etc. & other administrative activities for seamless working Functional Skills: - Advanced level of strategic thinking to define business focus & ensure execution - Advanced level of analytical ability to identify market opportunities & potential - Advanced analytical ability for market / business understanding, data interpretation, - Observable Leadership skill to inspire, motivate the stakeholders - Advanced insurance knowledge (must as deal with commercial lines) - Emotional Intelligence to handle customers - Good Interpersonal skill
