TASL group is fast emerging as a key Defence and Aerospace player in India with established capabilities and demonstrated deliveries in the following areas: - Missile Systems and sub-systems - Radar Systems and sub-systems - Command & Control Systems - Aerospace & Aero-Structures - Unmanned Aerial Systems - Optronic Systems - Homeland Security Solutions Job Description : - Own the staffing process and responsible for the development and deployment of recruitment strategies to achieve staffing objectives and levels. - Lead Staffing Continuous Improvement/process improvement initiatives to improve the candidate experience and reduce cost and cycle time to fill positions - Ability to understand the business, including products and services of the client organization, in order to speak with authority and attract key talent - Develop strategic recruiting plans specific to each unique requisition that exemplifies a depth of understanding of the client's hiring needs, both internal and external - Coach the team and hiring managers to ensure adherence to compliant recruiting and hiring practices while identifying potential solutions to challenging situations. - Drives recruiting metrics to ensure optimal quality, cost and service outcomes. Drive time to fill metrics to align with goals/expectations. - Lead the development and deployment of on-boarding activities to ensure successful transition of new hires. - Lead training initiatives associated with recruitment polices & practices and ensuring that hiring managers are trained in talent acquisition practices and are actively engaged in the recruitment process. Communicate expertise and provide guidance on policies, procedures and best practices to internal customers. - Manage an average requisition load of 30+ professional level positions in a fast-paced environment; requisition load may exceed this average during peak recruiting seasons - Consult with the hiring manager on market availability, market trends, roadblocks and potential solutions to overcome those roadblocks - Develop a flexible staffing model that maximizes internal resources and taps into a qualified and engaged staffing resources, including outside agencies, to address any volume increases; manage relationships and contract negotiations with vendors. - Promote and drive an inclusive and diverse culture through diverse candidate slates. - Own the core talent acquisition processes - ensuring positions are aligned with market compensation practices and current job descriptions. Qualifications : - MBA in HR - 7+ years of experience in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition - 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition (staffing/recruitment) - 2+ years of generalist and/or staffing experience in a highly engineered/manufacturing environment - 2+ years of management experience leading staffing group. - In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques - Process/Project Management experience as the primary driver/leader - Familiarity with a variety of different selection methods (interviews, assignments, etc.) - Hands on experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards - Experience with HRIS, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools - A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
