TATA Advanced Systems - AM - HR Business Partner Support
Objectives :
1) Be the face (Front end) of Human resources at the business /plant level
2) Implement, manage and co-ordinate key HR initiatives at the business level
3) Ensure that employees have high satisfaction levels & resolve employee grievances
4) Work together with Business to provide competent manpower to achieve strategic goals
5) Responsible for end to end implementation of HR operations at the business Level.
6) Conduct effective employee engagement activities
Major Deliverables :
1) Ensure all HR policies and practices are implemented; Ensure adherence to all statutory norms
2) Ensure all employee engagement activities, events, R&R events; Trainings happen on time; Recruitment happens on time
3) Ensure timely processing of payroll, Salary advance, etc.
4) Ensure all communication is sent out on time; Identification of effective medium for the same; Planning Goal setting, Mid-term, Final appraisal process;
5) Preparation of relevant metrics; MIS; Ensure employee grievance is handled effectively and resolution is provided
6) Identification of training needs of the employees for development of monthly training calendar and facilitating all training activities at the business level; This is to ensure skill gap is minimized.
7)Talent management- Devising & Implementing effective talent management systems, so that talent can be developed in-house, and ensure growth of the employee
8) Co-ordination with other dept. as and when required, for training, purchase etc., ensure participation in events, and meeting the timelines for goal setting and appraisal
9) Handling grievances, issuing leaves, ensuring safety compliance at the workplace. Motivating the team members, encouraging them to participate in different employee engagement activities. Work prioritization and allocation based on business requirements. Developing, motivating, encouraging employees and resolving people related issues of the other departments to ensure smooth functioning of the department. Team performance review on a weekly and monthly basis
10) To understand the pulse of the organization at all levels and take objective feedback to Head Human Resources so that necessary HR interventions can be planned and implemented; Understand pulse of the organization
11) Research about best practices in the industry and do proper benchmarking; Keep update on the developments in the industry & possible effect on the company; for e.g.- Setting up of new companies & effect on attrition; Perks offered by new companies etc. Develop company policies & practices through benchmarking
