Job Role -Head of Private Label Consumer Brand

Location - Gurgaon, Head Office

About Tata 1mg :

You will be a part of a fast-moving entrepreneurial unit working on non-linear growth ideas and will be responsible for the inside sales function for offline channel growth working closely with the field sales team.

You will work in ambiguity, building and communicating a clear approach, defining strategic priorities, implementation of key programs and ensuring that growth objectives for the company are being achieved.

Key Responsibilities :

- You will be responsible for the success of overall brand activations across channels (online and offline)

- Identify new opportunities in the market, keeping customer-centricity and world-class quality at the core. Make appropriate strategies to counter competitor's strategies through market intelligence

- You will be responsible for analyzing trends and emerging habits among target customers to recommend action (including new product innovation), ensure that our products are in tune with demand, and manage the product life cycle accordingly

- Manage diverse business channels for the business - Tata 1mg platforms (e-commerce, retail & institutional), online marketplaces, and general trade. Build a robust distribution infrastructure for retail / general trade

- You will be responsible for setting up the sales channels, building teams & distribution network, and aggressively driving sales

- You will be responsible for developing and driving the brand marketing strategy that supports the exponential growth of the brand by effectively using various marketing media, with a strong focus on digital, social media, and local marketing channels.

- Drive the high growth opportunity of building a healthcare-focused Tata 1mg branded consumer goods business. Complete ownership to drive new product development, supply-chain management, quality control, channel management, and brand marketing

-Identify & communicate effectively the consumer brand's proposition(s) across each category. The proposition should be based on the market white spaces, and latent strengths of the Tata 1mg brand. It should enable brand growth potential across Tata 1mg platforms and other channels

-Build a multi-year financial plan that captures sales growth, product and channel launch strategy, and a clear path to profitability, in addition to the investment required

-Build and operate a high-performing team that achieves growth and achieves annual operating plan

Eligibility Criteria :

-12+ years of brand & channel management experience, with demonstrated results in scaling up brand developments for D2C brands

- Hands-on experience in building a new brand/segment, in trade marketing, online sales & brand management, preferably for personal care/non-food/FMCG Brands

- Self-starter with a strong orientation to build a high-growth brand

- Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Agility to work in a fast-growing company, with thinking on the feet, and quick decision-making ability

- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, to engage the leadership team, as well as external stakeholder
