Role &amp; Responsibilities - Play a key role in growing the sectors; primary focus will be on the development of new projects, client account development, revenue generation, and project execution to deliver strategic value across various sectors and across various Clients - Generate revenue from new and existing clients to meet personal and/or team revenue targets - Actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with target clients aligned with Taru's strategy. - Lead opportunities, chase teams to identify and secure opportunities with clients that fit within Taru's value proposition, including proposal preparation, scope of work development and apt pricing. - Provide business value selling at the top levels of client organizations, raising the profile of Taru's capabilities within key client organizations, to identify and shape clients needs for Taru services. - Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service. - Keep track and maintain a pulse on industry business cycles and prioritize revenue efforts toward high-potential, top opportunities. - Contribute to leadership and management of major projects for Taru's clients. - Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to employees/consultants. In particular, provide technical guidance and mentoring to staff. Identify emerging talent and work with them to reach their full potential; ensure rising stars are nurtured, developed and given new areas of responsibility. - Support the growth and development of practice and actively collaborate with organisations across the globe. Drive innovation within the practice to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate Taru in the market. - Meet business financial targets, overall project budgets and schedules, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements. - Manage capture efforts utilizing technical understanding to develop proposals, including written content, pricing, presentations, and contracting. - Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to build Tarus global business, as well as to lead client and practice teams. Qualifications and Skill sets - 8-10 years progressive experience in a consulting environment, or a related, equivalent field, preferably with corporate clients, government, multilateral and private sector experience. - Advanced degree preferably in MBA or Development Economics - Strong existing client networks and relationships and experience and a network in the sectors would be advantageous - Strong leadership skills and extensive team management experience - Demonstrable track record in delivering high number of revenue results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic portfolios. - Ability to provide excellent project delivery and client service, quality on project deliverables, excellent communication, and organizational skills - Offer recognized technical expertise and an established reputation in the local marketplace. - Experience of working in global environment; international experience would prove advantageous - Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges, and recognize corporate opportunities - Willing to undertake travel at times throughout India, the South Asia, South East Asia region and Globally when required. - Ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan, and execute ideas. Capacity to develop work plans, budgets, funding proposals. Proven skills in project management, quality assurance, setting standards, and monitoring. - Hold self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modelling organizational values - Aligning work style with established work culture and leadership team. - High personal &amp; professional integrity. Team player and ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines. Problem solving attitude. Experience of managing teams and logistics - Good analytical, and knowledge management skills including writing and presentation skills.
