The specific tasks to be undertaken are:

- Provide support in developing & implementing human resource management policy and plan.

- Review HR manual and update it time to time.

- Design and conduct employee review on a regular basis.

- Provide recommendations regarding compensation including incentives, bonus and other benefits to the board of Directors

- Identifies, attracts and recruits high caliber individuals as organization-wide assets. This will be done through transparent and competitive recruitment and selection processes including updated job descriptions, proper job classification, vacancy announcement, screening of candidates, organization and chairing of interview panels, making recommendations on recruitment.

- Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals. Coordinate with recruiting firms for manpower requirements. Oversight of recruitment under projects. Development and maintenance of data base of job applications. Conduct, develop and ensure effective induction process for new starters.

- Benefits, entitlements, job classification, performance management, promotions and contracts renewal of staff and consultants and termination are administered in a timely, equitable, systematic and transparent manner

- Ensure adherence to statutory compliances. Monitor Personal Accident policy and other benefits policy, if any

- Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs, using cutting edge knowledge and methods. Review the outcome of the trainings.

- Effective employee engagement through Employee Counseling, Grievance Handling, building morale and motivation. Develop reward and recognition schemes. Identify competencies, prepare career growth prospects and recommend personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers as a retention technique.

- Management excellence and integrity are promoted and enhanced through measurable accountability and demonstrated leadership in HR management of the office.

- Communication between management and staff are clear, and sound relations between management and staff are effectively established and maintained.

- New trends, priorities, requirements, and strategic HR plans are identified and incorporated. HR management and strategy planning are supported by good technical analysis and staff surveys, and office management and planning processes. Strategy guidance and technical support for HR planning and management is always available to management

- Organize employee welfare services, superannuation and social activities

- Maintains manual and electronic documents, files and records (e.g. personnel records, employee lists, etc.) for the purpose of providing accurate information in compliance with established guidelines.

- Keep up-to-date with the work of all of the project teams, as well as the organization as a whole, in order to provide timely information to respective managers. Monthly HR metrics and reporting

- Travel to TARU offices across India

- Any other related activities, as assigned.

Qualification:

- Advanced university degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration or related fields from reputed institutes

- At least 8-10 years of experience in the professional HR Management work with national and international development organizations. Has good leadership and supervisory skills.

- Excellent fluency in English and Hindi and other Indian Regional Languages. Good writing and presentation skills.

- Ability to conceptualize, innovate; and execute ideas, plans and strategies. Capacity to develop work plans, budgets, and proposals.

- Demonstrates an ability to interpret non-verbal or emotional signs.

- Analyzes and integrates potentially conflicting numerical, verbal and other data from a number of sources.

- Fosters an organizational culture including adherence to policy, instructions and leading by example.

- Challenges self and own team or organizational area to achieve high levels of quality and productivity.

- Uses many different approaches to interact successfully with others, adapting own interpersonal style to fit in with the situation, and the characteristics of groups and individuals.

- Excellent interpersonal with solid judgment/decision making skills.

- High personal & professional integrity.

- Team player and ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.

- Problem solving attitude. Experience of managing teams and logistics.

- Computer literacy and ability to effectively use office technology and IT tools.

Location : New Delhi
