Job Description :

- Identify bidding and business opportunities from web and other publicly accessible sources and Independent Network

- Develop and update organizational capability documents, resumes, project description sheets etc. Assist in responding to requests for proposal (RfP) and Expression of interest (EoI) from potential clients

- Explore opportunities with individuals- consultants and organizations for potential partnerships on bid-specific requirements. Assist in gathering business intelligence especially to map potential competitors in business

- Follow-up with clients on submitted bids and identify reasons for success/ failure

- Compile and maintain record of all bids and related documents/data

- Any other tasks as may be assignment by the reporting officer from time to time

Desired Profile :

Education :

- Post graduation in Management/ Rural Management/ Rural Development/ Social Work/ Economics or related disciplines

Experience :

- Up to 3-5 years of experience in business development preferably in Social Research & Advisory or Monitoring & Evaluation domains

Personal Competencies :

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English language

- Thematic understanding of various sectors in the social and development domain

- Strong time management skill and ability to prioritise

- Ability to work against stringent timelines

- Ability to operate effectively in teams

- High level of involvement, engagement and ownership
