PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop quick understanding of the business environment, internal organization and ways of working.

- Establish rapport with key people in the organization and consultants to the company.

- Understand growth targets of the company and hence various programs to meet these goals.

- Monitor and report progress on these programs. Highlight risks, delays, and opportunities to Director.

- Develop strategy in consultation with senior leaders for the chosen function and manage the ensuing actions.

- Conduct constructive Market research on potential competitors.

- Compile correspondence and reports on behalf of the Director.

- Prepare proof read and edit all outgoing correspondence e.g. letters, funding proposals, press releases, marketing materials and newsletters.

- Prepare content for Director's internal/external meetings i.e. researching organization/individuals, briefing on “synergy” and possible new joint working opportunities which might result from this meeting so as to maximize new business opportunities for company.

- Ensure the general maintenance of reference material for bids/proposals

- To provide/research ground material/literature on various international development in Retail or other associated areas

- Regular updates on government policies and legislations.

- Develop and maintain structures for inter team communications within company.

- To work closely with the Director to ensure that all projects and contracts are up to date and ensure relevant Leaders produce monthly management reports for the Chief Executive outlining progress on all projects;

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Post graduation / Advanced degree in General Management.

- 8+ plus years total experience in preparing Analytics & reporting with exposure to various reporting tools is desirable.

- Ability to work independently with minimum instructions.

- Ability to analyse and break complex problems into smaller manageable parts.

- Ability to work in a non-hierarchical set up

- Natural ability to multi-task without getting stressed.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal presentation and written communication skills

- Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.

- Understanding of program management, portfolio management methodologies and tools.
