Chief Operating Officer - Healthcare

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO)-Healthcare to join our leadership team and drive our operations to new heights. Prior experience in healthcare distribution and retail is preferred.

As the COO, you will play a pivotal role in executing the company's strategic vision and will be responsible for optimizing and scaling our operational processes, both in the retail and e-commerce segments. You will lead a talented team, set and achieve operational goals, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all operational aspects of the business, including retail stores, e-commerce operations, and logistics. Focus heavily on scaling up the business.

2. Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, fostering a collaborative culture, and promoting professional development.

3. Process Optimization: Develop and implement streamlined operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall customer experience.

4. Inventory Management: Manage inventory, supply chain, and procurement to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize overstock/understock situations.

5. Quality Assurance: Set and maintain quality standards for products and services, ensuring customers receive top-tier supplies and materials.

6. E-commerce Expansion: Drive the growth of our e-commerce platform, overseeing website functionality, digital marketing, and customer experience.

7. Retail Store Management: Oversee the operations of retail locations, including staffing, merchandising, and customer service.

8. Budget and Financial Management: Work closely with the CEO and CFO to establish and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and make data-driven decisions to ensure profitability.

9. Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with all relevant industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a COO or in a similar executive leadership role in a retail and e-commerce setting for healthcare focused companies.

- Strong background in healthcare domain with focus on distribution , retail as well as ecommerce.

- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to optimize operational processes and drive efficiency.

- Strategic thinker with a track record of setting and achieving ambitious goals.

- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field is required. An MBA from an institution of repute is preferred

- Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
