Job Title/Designation : Senior Product Manager, PMM

Function/Group : Product Market Management (PMM)

Required Minimum Experience : 10 years

Travel Required : Yes, to Middle East and African locations

Location : Bangalore

Key Role Expectations :

- Own product management responsibilities for a region within the Middle East and Africa geo and be accountable for business outcomes

- Additionally own and lead product/release initiatives across regions

- Lead a small team of product managers

Position Hierarchy :

- Reporting to the Head of Product Market Management for Middle East and Africa, it is expected that the person playing this role will be able to lead a small team of Product Managers in the near to medium term.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

- Market analysis - build deep understanding of the identified market including market research, segment analysis

- Product definition define the product that can help Tally win in the identified region

- Lead and execute product/release initiatives working alongside cross functional teams including engineering, support, content and UX

- Responsible to ensure comprehensive understanding of the current marketing mix and provide recommendations for potential corrections/changes.

- Organize and present market and product requirements into cohesive plans and communicate to senior leadership.

- Responsible for executing processes, methodologies and tools for release initiation, productization and operations readiness.

- Drive GTM planning for product releases, enable sales function with market stories and product functionality.

- Responsible for taking custody of all product/release adoption reviews and feedback from identified region.

- Lead and nurture a team of product managers, implement development programs to ensure team members skill sets are upgraded appropriately.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree required

- MBA from a reputed institute will be a plus

Experience & Attributes :

- A minimum of 10 years in software industry with engineering background

- 4+ years of product management experience, B2B software experience preferred

- Experience working through multiple stages of SDLC as well as the product lifecycle as a product manager

- Strong customer empathy

- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, deal with ambiguity and work well under pressure.

- Ability to build fruitful relationships and navigate cross functional teams towards achieving results.
