Marketing at Tally is a strategic business enabling department driving innovation, consistency and accountability. The tightly knit team interfaces with the product team at one end and sales at the other to create GTM strategies and owns the execution as well. The onus of communicating with customers, prospects, partners, influencers, employees and planning and selection of media for the same lies invariably with marketing. The PR & Communication professional will share the responsibility of Tally's PR success in India and emerging markets in the Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia. This will extend to involve participation in the design and delivery of communication assets used in propagating the corporate and product brands both internally as well as externally. The role will work under the aegis of Corporate Marketing which encompasses communication, branding, PR and ATL marketing.

Designation: Assistant Manager - Marketing (Performance Marketing & Analytics) 


Function/Group: Marketing

Objective:

The ideal candidate should have a very good understanding of various steps in the complete marketing funnel. Should understand marketing qualified leads, sales qualified leads in the context of a B2B company and can work with internal teams to design campaigns.

What will you be doing?

- Develop and implement paid search strategies to drive new customer acquisition /retain existing customers through various paid channels

- Optimize budget across platforms and tactics to deliver positive return on marketing spend

- Should be able to create campaign structures, optimizations, and ad copy

- Develop bidding strategy and rule development for efficient spending and optimization

- Track, monitor, and optimize performance against key KPIs Expertise on campaign & bid management, keywords development, etc.

- Support ongoing landing page experimentation and testing

- Recommend new paid search tactics, concepts, and approaches to inform broader marketing strategy

- Experience in working with website optimisation tools for A/B and multivariate testing, e.g. Google Website Optimizer, Visual Website Optimizer, Optimizely etc

- Significant experience in working with analytical software (e.g. Google Analytics), data analysis techniques and advanced Excel

- Keep up to date with paid search best practices and strategies, adwords, GDN, Facebook Ad Manager etc

- Mentor other digital team members and educate them on the latest search advancements

Who are we looking for?

- 6 years of experience in marketing with 4+ years of paid search experience & analytics, Certification in AdWords, prior experience in running / optimising FB ads

- Run and optimized campaigns for a minimum monthly ad spends in the range of 30-50 lakhs per month for India/ international audience

- A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude, one who has a test & learn approach and a strong desire to get things done

- Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact paid search campaigns and initiatives

- Should have clarity in articulating a problem statement, formulating hypotheses and ensuring data collected, aggregated can test those hypotheses

- Ability to create resolution plans, get buy-in from stakeholders and manage efforts against the plan

- Ability to strategically assess opportunities and make data driven decisions resulting in tangible improvements in performance
