Position: Senior Consultant

Location: Mumbai

Our Business:

Talent Q provides innovative online psychometric assessments, training and consultancy to address talent management challenges throughout the employee lifecycle. Over the past year we have grown in excess of 50%, providing support to some of the best companies in India. Our consultancy business is thriving and we are looking for a talented and motivated consultant to join our team and take responsibility for significant projects.

The Role:

Aligned to the India’s consultancy division, but with close links to the broader business, the consultant will sell, project manage and deliver our consultancy assignments as well as contribute to the success of our product and training divisions. The consultant will share our passion for customer service and value our entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic. They will have the personality to develop relationships internally and externally, and the resilience to thrive in a business that is growing at a rapid pace. We’re building a high performing team and are looking for a strong team player.

Key Responsibilities:

- Successfully manage complex projects and client relationships.

- Achieve an annual chargeable utilisation figure through:

- Assessment centre exercise and programme design

- Delivering OD interventions including job analysis and competency design

- Assessment delivery (assessment centres and 1:1 leadership assessment)

- Delivering team development workshops

- Delivering BPS Level A and B training

- Delivery of Masterclass training sessions

- Generate significant new business sales.

- Support sales and marketing through:

- Contributing to white papers and publications

- Attendance at marketing events and trade fairs

- Delivering Level B conversion workshops (and new BPS equivalent)

The person

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Persistence and work ethic: to meet demanding targets.

- Attention to detail: to ensure high quality delivery.

- Communication skills and social confidence: to actively build and nurture relationships, and deliver training and presentations as required.

- Resilience: to deal with setbacks and maintain focus during busy periods.

- Proactivity and motivation: in order to be self-starting, not dependent.

- Teamwork: to support others and ‘roll sleeves up’ to contribute to the team’s overall success.

Experience/background

The individual will be an experienced psychologist and consultant who is comfortable managing clients and projects.

In addition to strong domain knowledge, they will have a track record in external client delivery and are likely to have delivered in-depth 1:1 assessments and Development Centres at senior levels. They will have experience as a trainer and willing to represent the business ‘on stage’ at events. They will have a demonstrable record and motivation for business development.

Experience of delivering psychometric training, for example BPS level A and B courses, will be a distinct advantage.
