Job Summary:

Responsible for Collection for All Product (X Bucket to Write Off).Managing a team of Collection managers and Officers across all locations. Proper allocation of portfolios in team and timely updation in system.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of Arbitration and NIA execution.

- Drive the bad debt recoveries to ensure NPA & NCL is within control.

- Formulate and implement strategies for recovery of bad debt.

- Supervise monitor and guide the team of Collection managers, Field Staff, In house teams.

- Set Collection targets & develop collection optimization strategies by market penetration

- Streamline the collection systems and develop new systems for enhancing efficiency of executives and provided quality service to the organization

- To initiate legal action against defaulters not ready to crack under persuasive forces ensured strict adherence to statutory legal requirements and continuous coordination with legal team, targeting maximum resolution of delinquent accounts.

- Proficient in MS Excel and PPT and various MIS on regular interval.

- He will be responsible for collection efficiency and cost of collections for the assigned area.

- The incumbent will be responsible to track & control the delinquency of the area, Bucket-wise & DPD wise and focus on non-starters.

- He will be responsible to review account allocations and collection targets by bucket to agencies/ in house team.

- The incumbent will be required to do regular follow up with the default customers through a dedicated team.

- The incumbent has to ensure that the collection agencies and executives adhere to the legal guidelines provided by the law in force.

- The incumbent has to manage productivity by fixing productivity parameters for In-house / Agencies / collection executives monitoring performance against set parameters and daily review the same.

- The incumbent has to ensure that a detailed background and reference check has been done of agencies / DCTs being appointed and evaluate them constantly.

- He will be responsible to identify and manage training needs for the executives.

- The incumbent will has to build relationships with key clients to ensure timely collections are made.

Skill(s) Required:

- Identify suitable tactics or strategies for timely collections.

- Good knowledge of Legal Compliances & MS Office, email communication.

- Should be presentable with good communication skills.

- Independent, meticulous and able to multi-task.

- Strong analytical abilities and can lead a team.

- In relevant field preferably NBFC - Unsecured Portfolio or other than Housing Finance

Languages Known: English, Hindi and regional local language
