Business Development Manager | Syrma SGS - Leading Electronics Manufacturing Services

With an already sizeable revenue base of about INR 1200 crores, we are in an exciting phase of growth, where we are looking to scale 3x in the next few years.

- In today's world, everything is becoming smart - from footwear to toothbrushes - and consumption of electronic products has been growing manifold. EMS market is set to grow at a CAGR of 30 percent in the next five years. The domestic market for electronic components is expected to increase from $21 billion in 2019-20 to $119 billion by 2025-26. The global electronic components market is valued at about $370 billion and is dominated by China with a third of the share, closely followed by Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the USA.

Ideal Candidate :

- We have identified a number of key verticals which we think will grow above the market. We are looking to recruit a few strong Business Development managers who are excited to take strategic ownership and drive the growth of these identified verticals.

Qualification / Educational Requirements :

MBA from IIMs or other top institutes (XLRI, FMS, SPJAIN, ISB, NITIE, and IIFT) and 4 - 8 Years' Experience in B2B Sales and/or Business Development

About the role :

- Identify new business opportunities in specified verticals to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. Strategic planning and positioning in identified verticals to generate leads and convert opportunities. Contribute to organizational strategies to ensure long-term success.

- Develop a good understanding of the company's products and services and be able to advise others about them.

- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.

- Keep abreast of trends and changes in relevant business segments. Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate. Develop high-quality content for customer prospecting and engagement.

- Establish and nurture relationships in client organizations - Seek out appropriate contacts, generate leads, cold-call prospective customers, meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone, foster and develop relationships and understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these. Develop proposals and presentations to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.

- Strategic Marketing - Develop strategies and positions. Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve strategic goals

- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.

- Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis, negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals, close contracts by working with cross-functional teams within the company.

- Ensure Customer relationship management by ensuring customer outcomes are achieved, addressing customer complaints, foreseeing customer requirements & needs, and coordinating for quality and on-time delivery to increase the customer base and enhance turnover and profit.

- Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure staff are on board throughout the organization and understand the need for change and what is required of them. Contribute to ongoing improvements in order booking, product quality, and delivery by prioritizing requirements, building solutions that make customers buy.

- Contribution to strategy and strategic projects to improve the company's top and bottom lines and long-term success.
