GDPR Project Manager to provide support for Data Privacy streams from technology perspective and support the overall delivery and operations of the Group's Data Privacy program.
Responsibilities
- Provide representation at the key working groups across the organization's Data Privacy Program.
- Drive the implementation of GDPR initiatives across the technology estate already identified including key initiatives such as retention/archival implementation, embedding Privacy-by-Design principles into new and existing implementations, evaluating records of data processing and data flow analysis in achieving compliance to privacy principles.
- Co-ordinate with relevant Leads and Stakeholders within Privacy team to receive clarification in order to ensure all identified gaps are addressed.
- Escalate key risks/issues relating to the progress of the program, produce reports, presentations and status updates.
- Liaising with other GDPR stakeholders in driving data privacy program for the whole organization including support the implementation of the Privacy Strategy, Target Operating Model and Privacy Framework.
- Develop and implement privacy data governance to ensure that data lifecycle is defined, data mapping and data flows are visualized, and data inventory details are maintained.
- Support in assessing and implementing relevant tools to support various GDPR compliance requirements in alignment with identified vendors.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams in data privacy impact assessments to ensure that risks associated with technology solutions are properly evaluated.
Qualifications:
- Ideally 3-5 years- Data Privacy/GDPR knowledge essential
- Strong Project Management and reporting experience within a large scale transformation project preferably in the Financial Services industry
- PMP and/or CIPP/E and/or CIPT certifications desirable
- Knowledge of ICO Guidelines, DPA rules and PECR rules
- Experience in implementing Data Privacy solutions
- Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall project management methodologies
- Strong compliance advisory experience, gained within a business environment
