Role purpose :
- Lead team of sales unit leads, execute sales campaigns, ensure achievement of agreed annual sales targets and delivery of quantitative and qualitative objectives assigned.
- Focus on the required demand generation activity with farmers for the growth of revenue from the sales region.
- Work with the trade to ensure forecasting, timely availability and liquidation of stock in the channel and ensuring timely collections.
- Identify the right target segments and focus on the grower value propositions which are supported by the required marketing promotional activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers in the territory.
- Develop team members, coach and guide other Sales Unit Leads and Field Sales Officers by regular infield workings.
- All other tasks related to demand generation and sales as may be assigned from time to time.
Required :
- B.Sc / M.Sc / MBA in Agriculture or allied areas.
- 8 years of experience in Sales & Marketing in Agri-input industry.
