Title: AVP, Customer Insights & Experience Analytics (SR) Role Summary/Purpose : The AVP, Customer Insights & Experience Analytics will be part of Analytics Center of Excellence rolling up to Synchrony India. The candidate will be responsible for mentoring offshore team and will play a key role in developing and providing analytical insights for strategic initiatives around customer journeys. The candidate role will partner with Enterprise Customer Engagement (ECE) journey design and measurement teams to provide journey insights of customer behaviors and linkages to key performance indicators. Essential Functions / Responsibilities : - Provide thought leadership and drive the team to execute strategic projects that measure customer engagement across digital and non-digital channels. - Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and deliver Opex efficiencies. - Drive and lead strategies that leverage digital data to derive insights which deliver positive business impact. - Explore new data sources in EDL to analyze behavior of customer segments and build strategies to drive Digital adoption. - Perform deep dives on customer journeys/experiences to uncover friction points impacting overall customer engagement. - Develop processes to efficiently automate repetitive tasks. - Work with onsite stakeholders and various process owners in marketing, collections, operations, technology, and digital teams to plan and implement strategic priorities. - Proactively discuss project requirements, propose changes in scope, identify potential opportunities, and devise contingency plans. - Closely track and monitor progress of projects, and strictly adhere to timelines. - Implement best practices across teams and ensure 100% accuracy. - Lead & manage the development of team members. Mentor them on analytical and technical skills. - Proactive & Regular communication with Stakeholders on Projects & People. - Continuously review and enhance the existing operating process. Qualifications / Requirements : - Masters Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics or MBA or Engineering graduates. - Minimum 8+ Years of working analytics experience in marketing, portfolio management, product development, loyalty programs in credit card/consumer businesses, or credit card risk strategy or retail analytics domain. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAS/SQL is mandatory. - Minimum 2+ years Experience in Customer Experience Analytics. - R and Python would be an added advantage. - Strong written/oral communication skills. - Good understanding of USA credit business market. - Proven ability to deliver Analytical solutions for Business problems. - Proven skills in handling multiple projects simultaneously. Desired Qualifications : - Proven hands-on experience using analytics tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python. - Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools. - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. - Ability to innovate and find creative solutions to meeting business goals. - Experience using internal and external data sources for actionable insight. - Strong marketing, collections, operations, creative and analytical skills. - Banking/Financial services industry experience. - Experience collaborating with analysts, data scientists, data engineers, business analysts, business SMEs. - Tableau data visualization experience a plus.
