Manager - Growth Planning


About the Team and Role :


Swiggy food delivery business is the largest business unit within the Swiggy ecosystem. The growth intelligence team is at the core of driving the next phase of growth for the food business. The Manager of growth strategy and Planning's primary responsibilities will be setting the medium and long term strategy and defining the GTM to deliver the business impact.

What will you get to do here? :

- Build & own the short- and long-term strategy, working closely with the cross functional teams on defining the roadmap, competitive analysis, market research, GTM to deliver significant business impact

- Identify and prioritize the key strategic levers that will help in articulating the AOP and QOP

- Work closely with the functional leadership team across the organization in building consensus on the strategic roadmap

- Work in a cross-functional setup involving Supply, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Merchandising & Product teams to program manage key growth initiatives for the food business

- Collaborate with other business teams across the org to ideate and find win-win-win solutions on common objectives across Growth, Unit economics and Customer experience.

- Lead and nurture a team of Senior Managers & analysts to drive the quarterly and annual planning activities

What are we looking for? :

- Minimum of 3 years experience with at least 1-2 years of it in consumer tech, preferably having led platform level growth strategy or planning initiatives

- We think that candidates with a combination of strategy consulting and consumer tech experience will thrive in this role

- Has worked on complex business problems with experience in leading teams through some of these challenges

- Has worked in a cross functional environment having managed stakeholders including peers, seniors, juniors on whom there is high dependency to deliver one's own goals; Should possess the ability to influence without authority

- Highly customer focused with ability to think deeply about TG, problems and then clearly and sharply articulating solutions, strategies across teams

- Has demonstrated strong bias for action while also being comfortable in ambiguous environments and is able to lead a team and keep them motivated through ups & downs.
