Swiggy - Head - Catalog/Content

At Swiggy, we're building an on-demand food delivery startup that is delighting many customers in Bangalore with time-guaranteed deliveries and an obsession with keeping customer service levels ridiculously high. We're a VC backed startup with alumni and core team members from the IITs, IIMs,BITS and Oxford and with very strong work experience in some of the fastest growing Indian startups.

As we scale our database of restaurants and their menus, it's incredibly important to ensure very high quality catalog content while capturing actionable data to make the ordering process for consumers delightful.

Our catalog/content team will be the biggest team at Swiggy in the coming years and we are looking for someone very dynamic with a self-starter mentality, A-team building ability and an infectious passion for problem-solving.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The catalog head will ensure speedy turnarounds and lightning fast updates to menus through

1. Hiring and training talent across on-boarding,catalog quality and audit, photography and content writing teams

2. Identifying process inefficiencies and setting up processes to ensure smoother collaboration and faster turnaround.

3. Scaling content operations by continuously hiring across new geographies we launch our presence in.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

1. Supremely strong analytical skills

2. Relevant experience in e-commerce catalog function preferred but definitely not a deal-breaker.

3. Ability to build and manage teams effectively.

4. Education from top tier colleges highly preferred
