About the team : Instamart Storefront team is the customer guardian responsible to drive the best customer experience by managing the most prime assets of Instamart's pre-order shopper journey. The team collaborates with multiple cross functional teams marketing, product, category, supply chain, strategy for new product ideation as well as project planning of campaigns; and leads various initiatives spanning across customer engagement, affordability, navigation experience, search, personalization and merchandising on the Instamart platform. Roles and Responsibilities : - Know the customer, generate insights and lead conversion-led growth: Deeply understand customer behavior, develop new shopper Insights basis both input and output data. Work in collaboration with the product & design team to understand the pulse of the customer through research, heatmaps, etc and keep building new product features to keep mitigating cx pain points, resulting in higher conversions of both new and repeat customers. - Process planning and governance: Setting up overall governance frameworks and working with cross functional teams for adherence to ensure best-in class shopping experience for the customers. Processes and guardrails planning for each widget as well as for Gtms of new product features or events on IM for smooth rollouts as well as objective evaluation of storefront performance. - Search, Merchandising and marketing - Creation of merchandising calendar, campaigns and objectives thinking customer backward, which shall aid Instamart's growth. Work collaboratively with category and growth/marketing teams for fair allocation of merch and marketing themes aligned with business goals; project planning and be the customer experience guardian for each campaign. - People leadership Build, retain and groom a strong team to deliver across functions Set goals, define KPIs and ensure team tracks effectively towards goals Desired Skills : - Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. Identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs. - Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment - Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves and deep dive - Min 4-5 years of experience in merchandising and marketing in e-commerce is highly preferred
