Designation: GM- Learning & Development (Operations) Role Reports to: Functional L&D Head Roles Reporting to this role: Sr. Manager - L&D, Manager - L&D Job Purpose: 1.To act as- strategic learning partner for the Operations BU by ensuring learning and development initiatives (for the Delivery Executives and Employees) are aligned to the key business metrices and supported by a robust learning and assessment charter for ongoing development and performance of the Delivery Executives and employees of the BU. 2. Exploring new and novel learning solutions consisting of rich and relevant content, novel learning methodologies and accessible cost effective technology supporting scalability. Areas of Responsibility: 1) Creation of Learning & Development Strategy & Framework: - Act as strategic learning partners to the Operations Leadership by aligning all learning and development initiatives for the Delivery Executives to the overall BU key drivers and goals for a given year. - Engage with Operations leadership teams to understand the Key Focus Areas and Business Metrices and related targets for- a given year, and create a broad training and development framework for the Delivery Executives to support every stage of their life cycle. - Participate in the Annual Training Budget meeting with the- L n D leadership team to provide specific inputs and build a comprehensive training budget for the BU - Create the learning solutions framework to address the onboarding, induction and specific development needs of the Delivery Executives by ensuring scalability, optimal learner experience, retention and mobility of the delivery force within various roles in Swiggy. - Ensure the training design, content and delivery (access to participants) is effective and impacts key metrices such as NPS of customers, restaurant partners, earnings of delivery executives and their retention. - Provide proactive , reactive and contextual learning solutions for the Delivery Executives based on continual assessment of their performance in terms of activity and earnings - Ensure all Delivery Executives attend the compliance trainings and adhere to relevant codes of conduct. - Design and develop relevant role based employee training programs and measure their impact by identifying improvements in key metrices such as serviceability and reliability. - Continuously support the BU by identifying training needs based on career progression of various role holders and design and deliver learning programs based on need. 2) Continuous Improvements: - Ensure novelty and relevance in the learning content based on- impact measurement of various initiatives, new ideas based on benchmarking and best practice adoption. - Analyze DE performance data to identify 'success factors' of top performers and incorporate their success stories into training content and collaterals to benefit the less successful delivery executives - Constantly engage with the training vendors/partners to enhance overall quality of their services (content design, delivery and technology platforms) - Coach and guide the team to act as 'consultants' to the BU leadership and support Inside and Outside Swiggy Learning Initiative 3) Learning Experience: - Interact with knowledge partners- (learning service providers, technology partners etc.) continually to be informed of the new trends and practices in the space of learning and development of employees and partners - Build Swiggy School for scale to improve work efficiencies and a platform for partners to learn newer skills - Help build the right modules based on the Tiering model to influence CX - Design and develop relevant role based partner training and assessment models, measure their impact by identifying improvements in key metrices - Build capability for the partners outside their work Role Interfaces: - Internal: Operations BU Leadership team & Regional/Cluster/City Heads (Operations) - External: Training Vendors, Delivery Executives, Freelance Trainers/Content Designers, Technology Partners Technical Competencies Required:- - Training Need Identification methodologies (Questionnaires, Focus Groups etc.) - Learning methodologies - Assessment tools and techniques - Knowledge of Learning Technologies (LMS, Mobile Learning etc.) Job Type - full_time The apply button will redirect you to an external URL, please apply there as well.
