Swiggy - City Operations Head

The Operations function at Swiggy is responsible for order fulfilment, logistics and customer experience. The City Operations Head has the end-to-end responsibility for delivering on all these 3 aspects in conjunction with the internal norms of the company. The role would require the candidate to perform the following tasks:

- Developing & ensuring execution of Operational Processes to efficiently operate and grow the business

- Leading and managing a team of Managers and Executives to offer the best in class Customer experience

- Strategizing and executing projects aligned with the company vision and setting aggressive timelines to achieve them

- Proactively experimenting new processes and technologies thus promoting an Innovative and Entrepreneurial culture within the team

- Recruiting, managing and retaining the fleet of executives via a healthy and rewarding work atmosphere

- Setting the vision, direction and culture of the team by managing individual expectations and aspirations

- Monitoring real time service levels and schedule adherence

- Performing ad-hoc analysis and reports based on business needs

Preferred Candidate:

- Graduate with 2-10 years work experience (preferably in operations or consulting roles)

- Having prior experience in process design and operations implementation (preferably in Logistics / Supply chain management)

- Having prior leadership experience (experience in managing blue collared workers such as delivery executives or factory workers is a big plus)

- Strong time management skill holder with the ability to prioritize in order to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals

- Comfortable with advanced features of MS excel. Should have the intuition to use data effectively for devising operations strategy

- Structured problem solver with orientation for details and a die-hard customer first attitude
