Roles and Responsibilities : 1) Be the supply POC for Fruits and Vegetables procurement to Urban Kirana. 2) Identify vendors and be the relationship manager for supply of FnV based on the guard rails set by the central FnV team. 3) Negotiate prices with the vendors to achieve the margin targets and remain competitive in the market (guardrails defined by the central team). 4) Supplier Payments - Liason with PoC from Finance team for timely payments according to rules set by Finance team. 5) Monitor Delivery times, fill rates, quality issues, and other ad hoc issues and close the feedback with the suppliers. 6) Facilitate quality audits and training of store managers on inwarding and RTV - Feedback loop to vendors for improvements. 7) Maintain Feedback loop of CX issues with Suppliers &amp; Track Corrections, Manage and execute secondary sale. Desired Candidate : 1) 4-5 years of work experience vendor operations, account management, procurement in the retail sector. Exposure to Fruits and Vegetables retail is a plus. 2) Effective negotiation and Communications Skills. Excel skills are a must. 3) A very fast learner with high bias for action or a very hands on candidate is preferred. 4) Ability to work as a team player in a target driven work environment. 5) Ability to lead projects from conceptualization to closure, leveraging internal resources to get things done.
