Swadhaar FinAccess (SFA) is not for profit organization (Est. 2005) based in Mumbai, India aiming for financial inclusion through the imparting of financial education and the facilitation of access to financial services to the urban low-income communities. Swadhaar FinAccess (SFA) has initiated Financial Inclusion and Literacy Centres (FILCs), this is an innovative concept aimed at financial inclusion and financial literacy of low income communities. As steps towards digitization we have developed award winning apps Swadhaar Saathi (Money management app for low income communities) and Swadhaar Dost (for field workers). We aim to scale up penetration of these apps. We have different financial literacy initiatives in in Mumbai, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Bihar. We are also in the process of taking up some more large projects in different states

Along with the social mission, the organization also believes in sustainability and scalability of the programmes. You will be part of the innovative and dynamic team and have the advantage of leading and scaling up the programme.

Job Description:

DESIGNATION : General Manager, OPERATIONS

Reporting to : Chief Executive Officer

Location : Mumbai

Reporting to : CEO

Job Purpose

This is a senior level position. Manager- Operations will be responsible for Initiating, Expansion, Development, and Monitoring of the Programmes. The role involves taking forward the organization strategy.

Job Responsibilities

- Streamlining and managing all the current programmes in Mumbai, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Bihar

- Managing new digital programmes/initiatives (Swadhaar Saathi App and Swadhaar Dost App) and creating model for scaling them

- Coordinating with internal and external stake holders associated with the project

- Preparing the operations plan for the programmes and monitoring the roll out

- Being totally budget oriented and managing operations within the budget

- Building and Managing team as per the need

- Motivate and manage the team to meet the targets of Swadhaar Fin Access branches and also create an impact with the Financial Literacy programmes.

- Timely Compilation and submission of reports, data/MIS for internal and external stake holders.

- Improving the team efficiency by capacity building, regular training and productivity optimization

- Believe in Social enterprise model and work towards sustainability of the programmes

Professional Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Post Graduate/ Graduate with relevant experience

Essential:

- Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in Social Sector/ Social Enterprise/Microfinance with a focus towards expansion and sustainability.

- Strong management and presentation skills.

- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Languages: Skills in English Both Verbal and Written must.

- Ability to operate with minimum supervision.

- Must be willing to travel within and outside Mumbai

- Good computer skills

- Interest in technology would be added advantage

- Willingness to travel to slum communities and field as per requirement.

- Ability to build, supervise and manage the team
