To Head the tolling operations, systems management, route operations and maintenance functions of a large Road Development Company having 10-15 toll plaza spread across India along various National Highways & State Highways Development Projects;
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To review, analyze and monitor the tolling operations of all the plaza spread across various projects in India;
- To anticipate problems in time and suggest measures to management for resolving issues;
- To implement decisions and ensure success in requisite endeavors of the company;
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems;
- Set up of Toll Collection Strategy, implement and monitor;
- Review, Monitor and build Operation & Maintenance team to fill in the requisite resource gaps;
- Monitor financial parameters of the project exercising all measures to reduce cost & improve margin.
- Conduct weekly / monthly / quarterly review meetings with senior leaders and team
- Proactively assist in preparing budget & cash flow statement
- Introduce and establish systems & procedures for functioning of all departments
- Monitoring of Project Progress
- Review of expenditure and budget
- Implementation of operation and maintenance setup of during and after completion
- Monitoring of Project Progress
- Liaison with contracts, engineers, clients, government and other authorities;
Key Competencies :
- Excellent knowledge of Tolling operations and maintenance
- Sound knowledge of procurement of systems, their installation, test and commissioning
- Develop and implement SOPs
- Develop and Implement Systems & Processes
- Ability to manage complex operations;
- Liaison with key external agencies such as NHAI, Government Authority, Local Communities, Business Partners, Service Partners, Consultant and other agencies/ Entities.
- Self Driven and have ability to work independently with minimal support
Qualifications:
- Graduate (must), preferably from technical background with preferably post graduation in Public Administration / Management;
Experience :
- 15-20 years of relevant experience
- Should have exposure of handling 4-5 toll plazas
- Should have handled correspondences related to toll operations with NHAI and state authorities
- Experience of Commissioning of Plaza including mobilization of manpower and assets will be an added advantage
- Grown through the ranks in the Industry only;
- Worked at site for substantial years and then moved to HO
