1. Strategy formulation & Execution

a. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities by determining their fit with Suzlon Group's businesses

b. Assist in sourcing and reviewing business cases for new investments that fall in the above criteria

c. Preparation of all internal and external marketing materials/analyses/decks as may be required to support transaction evaluation and investment decision making

d. Assist in engaging with counter party teams and support in deal negotiations

e. Keep track of critical sectorial developments to highlight opportunities and be a part of core team to drive group level growth initiatives into new markets

f. Ensure timely delivery of requisite output from external consultants for key strategy/transaction projects

g. Be a touch point from data mining/presentation preparation of marketing materials

2. Mergers

a. Financial analysis and valuation exercises

b. Taking ownership of/ assisting relevant teams for Industry Analysis, benchmarking studies, preparing mandate pitches, market research with focus on identifying and evaluating New Business avenues

c. Support relevant teams in conducting transaction Due Diligence (can be both Buyside or Sellside)

d. Support in structuring deals/transactions for New business opportunities and for Suzlon Group companies

3. Program Management

a. Support in conceptualizing & executing various process transformations across the Suzlon Group

b. Assist in getting clear project sponsorship from senior leadership

c. Take key role in driving the specific delegated projects, to ensure delivery on objectives

d. Ensure that project objectives are achieved & a sustainable impact is delivered to the organization(s)

4. Requirements

a. 1-2 Years of experience in M&A or deal consultancy with bulge bracket investment banks, top-tier Indian investment banks, Big 4 consulting firms, private equity funds

b. Thorough understanding of financial modelling and analysis with the ability to create robust financial/valuation models from scratch

c. End-to-end exposure to equity/debt raise, refinancing, cross-border M&A would be an added bonus, though not strictly required

d. Graduate from premier MBA institutions in India/abroad, such as the IIMs, ISB, FMS, MDI, SP Jain, NITIE, NMIMS and JBIMS

e. High preference to candidates who can join within 2 months

Salary offered: 9 - 12 LPA
