UpMan Placements is hiring for a Top MNC Pharma company.

Role - Sustainability Lead

Location - Vizag

ROLE SUMMARY:

- Should be an energy manager from BEE (Bureau of energy efficiency) and should be able to lead and drive sustainability projects at site.

- Should be able to prepare conceptual design, develop sustainability related projects. Evaluate approve designs submitted by third party vendors.

- Implement sustainability related projects or programs to reduce carbon emissions from the site as well as energy costs to meet the Net Zero Targets. Improve energy efficiency by reviewing the designs, Optimization of process/Operation.

- Has specialization in Climate Change Programs, electrical systems, heating ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC) systems, green buildings, lighting, air quality, energy procurement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Shall do Energy Audits/Life Cycle Implementation of identified energy projects.

- Shall have capability to work with both internal & external resources.

- Shall have Knowledge on Carbon Neutral, Net Zero programs and energy management techniques and various tools.

- Shall be conversant with Various energy Audit Procedures.

- Shall own programs to drive technology excellence and drive quality culture at site.

- Support in equipment selection, testing and qualification phases.

- Deliver significant reduction in GHG emissions through various sustainability

drive/programs.

- Drive toward carbon neutral across our operations.

- Ensure Sustainability Pillars are embedded into large capital projects.

- Be familiar with and co-ordinate the use of ECC Program tools at the site. Including Green Building Evaluations for proposed expansions & new facilities

- Define Energy Policy for the site.

- Establish multi-discipline Site sustainability Team to drive success of Net Zero Program to meet the planned targets.

- Conduct or Organize site energy assessments to identify conservation opportunities on a programmed basis. Evaluate, oversee & prioritize opportunities through to completion

- Shall manage site energy budget. Track and report regularly on energy usage & cost.

- Ensure that sustainability performance goals are established for the site

- Establish metrics on energy demand, Carbon Neutral/Net Zero Programs at site and outcome against those goals.

- Participate in development of energy procurement strategy, maintaining familiarity with the key aspects of the site's supply side management.

- Shall have networking with other sites to share knowledge and implement the projects learnt.

- To coordinate and ensure timely completion of identified energy conservation activities.

- To develop and implement the data capturing methodology for Energy, Water and

Wastewater consumptions cost saving initiatives.

- Prepare project reports and other program or technical documentation.

- Review or negotiate Sustainability purchase agreements.

- Train personnel on topics such as energy/waste management.

- Conduct onsite observations, field inspections, or sub-metering to collect data for energy conservation analyses.

- Conduct energy audits to evaluate energy use, costs, or conservation measures.

- Consult with construction or renovation clients or other engineers on topics such as

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or Green Buildings. beautification

- Inspect or monitor energy systems, including heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) or daylighting systems to determine energy use or potential energy savings.

- Manage the development, design, or construction of energy conservation projects to ensure acceptability of budgets and timelines, conformance to federal and state laws, or adherence to approved specifications.

- Oversee and evaluate design or construction aspects related to energy such as energy engineering, energy management, and sustainable design.

- Review architectural, mechanical, or electrical plans and specifications to evaluate energy efficiency or determine economic, service, or engineering feasibility.

- Act as a single point of contact with Pfizer Global engineering ensuring consistency of equipment, technology application across the network. The role will also be pivotal in sharing equipment successes across the network.

- Shall review URS's, equipment drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and equipment qualification packages.

- Shall ensure strong collaboration across functional teams, quick project implementation as well as rapid resolution of technical issues.

- Regular communication to stakeholders in relation to resolution of technical challenges (internal & external to Engineering)

- Responsible for ensuring the equipment & systems run to target efficiencies, and all

applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) targets are met.

- Ensuring compliance to cGMP and Safety requirements mandated by site and Pfizer

corporate standards.

- Leverage and reinforce utilization of HR tools and resources.

Preferred Education/ Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Instrumentation)

- Firsthand experience as Technology lead

- Knowledge and understanding of the US cGMP (21 CFR Parts 210, 211)

- Ability to communicate with site & corporate global functions

- Understanding of the local safety and environmental regulations

- Experience (type and length of experience needed to perform effectively)

- 15-20 years of industry experience.
