We are hiring an Research Analyst for the Asset Management Business of a Global Financial Services Firm, the Asset Management division delivers innovative investment solutions through a global, multi-product platform that offers clients the advantages that come with working with a large firm, while maintaining the benefits of a boutique.  The Research Analyst an extension of global portfolio manager teams sharing broad research and portfolio responsibilities. This Research Analyst will mainly be focusing on the analysis from the Environment, Social And Governance ( ESG ) perspective and will be part of the global research and portfolio management team.   An analyst is responsible for covering ESG at a company and sector level. This may include the following:  1) ESG company analysis complete initial step of ESG analysis process for companies held in ESG focus portfolios, and over time, the Fundamental Equities complex globally. Perform ongoing due diligence and monitor existing portfolio positions in assigned companies and industries.  2) ESG sector analysis - source and maintain ESG data for assigned sector coverage. Analyze company and research reports, the industry, and competitive landscape, and evaluate company management; analyze ESG data, controversies, news and detailed ESG third-party reporting. Prepare ESG rating recommendation and present to the investment team ahead of ESG stock review meetings.  3) Working with portfolio managers to research and develop views on both investment and ESG issues. Propose new strategies that enhance portfolio characteristics on ESG, risk/return, and positioning.  4) Data Sourcing and Infrastructure - evaluate ESG data sources and how they are integrated into existing and potentially new FE systems, participate in team's due diligence of strategic ESG data partner as we build best in class ESG infrastructure.  Looking for a Minimum of 1 year of either Buy Side / Sell Side Research, with strong passion for sustainable and ethical investing with deep knowledge of Businesses and Industries.  Would prefer some one with an MBA from an Tier 1 B School (MBA is Mandatory).
