Position: Jr Manager - Finance & Accounts

Qualification: CA

Experience: 0 to 2 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the Top/Senior Management.

- Ensure the statutory requirements of the organization are met like Income Tax, Service tax, etc.

- Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors

- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash

- Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll

- Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate

- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;

- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;

- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations.

- Managing budgets;

- Arranging new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities;

- Internal Audit of books of Accounts.

- Branch Audit relating to cash collection and deposit, physical stock taking.

Skills:

- Should have knowledge of auditing & accounting standards along with technical & industry expertise.

- Should be able to handle statutory audit assignments.

- Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments & manage ambiguity.

- Should have capability of handling audit assignments independently.

- Strong verbal and communication skills.

- Clarity of thoughts and assertive.

- Effectiveness and creativity of written expression - logical, readability and conciseness.

- Good presentation skills and ability to respond promptly.

- Should be a team player with a proactive & result oriented approach.

- Strong leadership skills to deal with senior management & drive various meetings.
