Support Analyst/Senior Support Analyst
Role Purpose : To be part of dedicated Product Consulting team to support BAU activities and future business initiatives. Support the Product usage and develop operational processes around the same.
Required Qualification :
Mandatory :
1. Engineering or IT Degree.
2. Strong fundamentals in RDBMS - PL/SQL, SQL SERVER 2008/2012/2016 (T-SQL) and exposure to deployment/source control tools (Jenkins/Octopus & SVN/GIT/TFS)
3. Basic understanding of Capital Markets / Asset Management Operations / Investment Banking
Added Advantage :
1. MS certification in SQL/Oracle
2. Basic Capital Markets/Functional certifications
Added Advantage :
1. (Functional) Awareness to Mifid 2/DFA/EMIR regulation
2. (Technical) Advanced Excel skills and VBA
Deliverables and Tasks :
1. Collaborate with the Product Management/Implementation team and contribute towards the stability and vision of the application based on the feedback from the end users and studying the industry trend.
2. Lead technical implementations projects for new Clients and work on new client requirements with the implementation team.
3. Be the Product Owner and respond to business queries from Asset Managers and Brokers from technical as well as functional perspectives.
4. Work with the development and testing team in new product development and existing product enhancements.
5. Coordinate with the Asset Managers and CSA Brokers for understanding their requirements and work on client specific requirements for Data/Configuration changes involving complex SQL scripting.
6. Ensure application uptime and smooth running of the application by addressing application issues.
7. Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve Data/Application/API issues and errors reported by Users.
8. Peer review SQL code and mentor colleagues with less SQL experience.
9. Utilise change /release management systems effectively
10. Implement changes and improvements to the procedures and processes to cope with a rapidly evolving system environment.
11. Conduct Demo/Trainings for clients & develop knowledge bases and in-depth documentation.
