Supply Planning Manager - FMCG/Healthcare/Pharma/Mfg - IIT/NITIE

Job Description : Supply Planning Manager

The position reports into the Planning Head.

We are looking at candidates from premier schools like NITIE 2012, 2013, 2014 pass outs.

Relevant experience is preferable, or else keen interest to move in planning, FMCGs preferable, Manufacturing, food, beverages, pharma is also ok.

Main purpose of the role :

- To facilitate Supply Planning (Local 3P's, including RM/PM Planning), Exports and Master data management to achieve sales requirements within stated company objectives along with the Planning Head, with the use of specific key performance indicators.

Detailed Responsibilities (non-conclusive) :

Supply Planning Local 3P's :

- Generate a master production plan for Local 3P's .Review the production plan with the Operational/Plant production planner. Ensure compliance to the agreed production plans. Monitor & report supply fill rates from 3P.

- Track RM/PM planning for 3P's as per set inventory Norms.

- To work closely with Procurement on forward buying & Production- exigency controls etc. in case of shortage of materials / products.

- Give long term visibility/forecast for high lead time/critical raw materials.

Exports Planning :

- Driving Export countries S&OP along with demand planning team and individual country heads

- Generate approved MIP (Monthly Import Planning) in consensus with Planning Head and ensure submission via Spreadsheets/System to the respective PC's as per agreed business deadlines and related follow ups on regular supplies,

- Coordination for LC availability well in advance

- Coordination with different stakeholders for ensuring revenue recognition of the containers

- Drive Regular con-calls & other supply chain related communications to be done on top-priority.

- Coordinate pack/price changes and ensure smooth transition.

- Be on high alert for any supply discrepancies and escalate to the senior management.

Master Data Management :

- Responsible for Master Data Management on SAP

- Ensure completion of MADCON related activities, within defined timelines

- Driving SKU Optimization along with other stakeholders.

- Facilitate execution of Local promotions within & outside Local 3P vendor & New Launches by continuously monitoring & following-up with all the stake holder to close all the processes within the deadlines

- Work closely with Procurement/Production to address supply gaps and to finalize Local 3P specific SLA's in terms of Supply planning delievrables.

- MIS & KPI Scorecards - Generation of various MIS/Reports & KPI scorecards on daily, weekly & monthly basis as per agreed timelines with stakeholders.

- Systems - Maintaining system hygiene by continuously monitoring & regularly cleaning of system (SAP-MM module & SAP-NDF System.)

Required Qualification :

Education : Post Graduate degree in Supply Chain/ OM

- 3-4 years experience in Planning. Exposure to handling exports.

- PC Know-how : Excellent MS-Office skills, knowledge or quick grasp of logistics-software, SAP / MM/ APO knowledge desirable

- Languages : Good command of spoken and written English.
