Supply Planning - Auto

Quest Consultants (www.questconsultants.in), one of India's oldest and most reputed Executive Selection and Search Companies. Quest was founded by IIT, IIM graduates in 1982 and it operates out of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.

Our client is a large and well-respected Business House of India having diverse interests globally with strong Indian roots. The Group operates in the areas of Banking & Finance, Automobiles, Real Estate, Mining, Oil & Lubricants, Healthcare, Power, Media, IT & BPO, Trading, etc.

One of its Listed companies operating in the Engineering / Auto component Space has entrusted us with the selection of a Supply Planning specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, direct, control and manage the supply chain to ensure that the order fulfillment rate is balanced with service, delivery and stock performance.

- Generate Rolling Production & Dispatch plans for the assigned products and depot locations.

- Optimise the overall cost of ownership of materials and services at each stage of the supply chain.

- Co-ordinate with Demand Planning to understand and know market requirements.

- Provide KPI reporting on supply, inventory and supply chain costs to include customer service, plan vs. actual, inventory (SM / NM), and new product introductions.

- Provide data and guide the Sales & Operations Planning process.

- Assist with development of requirements, test scripts and implementation of upgrades to Oracle and with any new supply planning software and process improvements.
