Roles & Responsibilities:

1 Monthly Finished goods production requirement planning considering demand, capacity and capability constraints.

2 Monthly Raw materials requirements planning considering supplier lead times (different items have different lead times)

3 Monitor actual production and Raw material inwards versus plan.

4 Actively work towards improving the inventory health by reducing Slow and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory.

5 Liaise with multiple stakeholders like design and development, category management, sourcing, purchase, manufacturing, warehouse and logistics for conflict resolution.

6 Take up supply chain improvement projects to either reduce cost or improve service.

7 Participate in yearly budgeting exercise for optimum inventory level finalization for FG & RM

1 Business Acumen - Should have cross functional perspective of the business, resulting in logically evaluated options to provide a solution that optimizes overall organizational objectives

2 Ownership - Should be able to manage end to end timelines in fast paced environment (In MTO,MTS,JIT)

3 Agility - Should be capable of recognizing environmental /market changes that affect the organization and be able to assess its likely impact on immediate area of work. Should suggest action to be be taken to superiors. Should be able to effectively manage change by quickly executing change initiatives- whether in product/service or people and show flexibility towards change management. Should be capable of reallocating time and shift resources to cope with varying situations. Should set priorities in cross functional multi-tasking. Meet deadlines. Prioritize to accomplish critical tasks

4 Entrepreneurial - Should have the ability to spot opportunities for incremental improvements in her/his functional area and provide creative ideas for the larger organization

5 Quality and Excellence - Should be able to train the team on quality adherence by measuring the impact of quality on customer satisfaction and profitability. Should be able to diagnose gap areas in quality audit systematically and take necessary corrective action. Raise quality benchmarks when required.
