Reporting to : Head of Supply Chain/COO
Responsibilities:
- Define and manage supply chain strategies for the company
- Manage and optimize the Supply Chain in co-operation with marketing team, logistics team and other business partners
- Carry out production planning/master scheduling activities, including order management, resource planning, delivery promising (ATP management), and production forecasting and reporting of actual manufacturing results vs. plan. Provide back up to certain planning functions.
- Implement best practice process and organization for planning. Continuously optimize planning, order to cash processes
- Define and ensure implementation of measures to fulfill Net Working Capital Budget
- Responsible for inventory and availability (raw materials, intermediates and local finished and traded products)
- Continuous improvement of slow-movers and dead stocks
- Translate the marketing forecast into resource requirements to assess team capabilities versus forecast requirements. This includes material requirements planning based on the forecast.
- Measure and compare actual production results against the production plan and forecast.
- Responsible for Operations Review Meeting (capacity, production, shipments) and explanation of changes.
- Facilitate adjustments to ATP as required to reflect actual plant performance and realized production rates. Identify adjustments needed in resource allocations based on such changes.
- Define and implement supply chain cost savings measures in collaboration with Regional Marketing and Sales and Regional Logistics. Continuously optimize regional network according to business needs
- Serve as a lead for all supply chain Black/Green Belt projects that are performed within the department. Determine scope of improvement projects; initiate and lead improvement projects as necessary. Develop reports and analysis for continuous improvement.
- Lead new system implementation projects and initiatives within Supply Chain department
- Use strong system skills and business knowledge to examine the effectiveness of supply chain operations and to communicate conclusions.
- Analyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency of function and systems.
- Degree in supply chain or APICS certification preferred
- Prior supervisory experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Knowledge & experience of SAP and in-depth understanding of Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience, training or certification of Lean and/or Six Sigma/Performance Excellence. Green Belt certification preferred.

- Ensure efficient functional and operational structure and task delegation interfacing globally in a global organization.
- Project management know-how and hands-on use and roll out experience of SAP (or equivalent ERP system) in the areas of demand planning, inventory planning, master planning, procurement and scheduling
- Experience in leading and managing a business support team
