Supply Chain Expert - Consulting Firm

Recruiting Supply Chain Experts for a premier consulting organization for various levels.

Basic Qualifications:

- B.E/B.Tech + MBA

- Minimum 5-12 yrs. supply chain, logistics and distribution experience.

- Proficiency in MS Office tools and should be able to make impressive presentations and reports.

- Must Have experience: 

1. Experience in modern supply chain solutions - GIS/GPS fleet tracking, smart warehouses etc.

2. Supply chain network Design/Optimisation - Optimisation of central warehouse locations, local warehouse locations, last mile delivery etc.

3. Supply chain process re-engineering

4. Identifying and implementing best practices across all supply chain components- b-

Good to have: 

1. Experience in government/public sector

2. Experience in foodgrain/commodity/perishables business.

3. Experience of managing transport contracts

4. PMP/Prince2 certification

Other competencies: 

- Able to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Able to assist the team as a subject matter expert for preparing responses to RFPs/RFIs

- Self-driven. Should be able to work with minimum supervision.

- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people across functions

- Strong analytical skills & a go-getter with high drive and ownership

The organization is a good paymaster and remuneration will not be a constraint for the right candidate.

The role requires occasional travel.
