Experience: 7-11 years
Qualification: Only MSC(stats/eco/or/maths)/PHD-Mandatory
- Supervises a team that provides Operations Research Analytics to customers in the Airline Revenue Management area.
- Devises and delivers analytical processes that gather necessary data, perform computations/model estimations and generate reports for tasks such as forecast quality measurement, system health-checks, advanced system tuning and calibration, simulation studies, system benchmarking and models training for customers.
- Conducts customer meetings and health-checks that enable us to offer the right services to a customer. Effectively assign work, delegate tasks to team members and review their performance as per company policies.
- Monitors all team projects, provides guidance and updates management appropriately. Liaises with other internal teams to ensure effective collaboration during projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Physics or related Quantitative disciplines (or equivalent level of experience)
- 5 years of experience delivering advanced Analytics solutions or practices through consulting or customer support engagements.
- Demonstrated ability to apply modeling and analytical skills to real-world problems (preferably logistics and transportation related problems) and deliver these projects with measurable results to customers
- Expert-level fluency in applying advance multivariate statistical analysis (logistic & linear regression, decision tree, cluster analysis, and ANOVA) to categorize, classify, and detect data relationship in large datasets (not fitting memory)
- Experience with applying complex business logics to extract and cleanse large datasets from different data sources (xml, txt, xls, sql, etc)
- Solid programming skills with knowledge of R, SAS, SQL, Python or other data-extraction and analysis tools
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and define KPIs to measure benefits and communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
- Prior supervisory experience with proven ability to delegate, assign and monitor projects
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Ph.D. (or M.Sc. with equivalent level of experience) and knowledge of Airline industry and Revenue Management practices
- Able to read research articles and develop new statistical and optimization algorithms to fit our business needs
- Knowledge in Business Intelligence (ETL, Data staging, OLAP), and able to quickly learn and program new tools for multi-dimensional data visualization and decision support.
- Experience with applying 6 sigma, building R libraries, and using Hadoop.
