About the role:

Reporting to: Finance Lead

Job location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru

Detailed job description:

- Design, analyse and build baseline forecast, challenge/consolidate the promotions and new launch forecast projected by marketing and category teams and arrive at final sales forecast.

- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales plan in key categories at Supertails to ensure availability of inventory.

- Manage the working capital targets for holding the inventory and days of inventory at a brand warehouse level.

- Provide qualitative inputs to the forecast engine to reduce the MAPE in key categories and focus SKUs.

- Maintain and improve the replenishment model between the warehouse, dark stores and offline stores to ensure high availability.

- Manage supply chain capacity planning and provide accurate information for optimum utilisation of warehouse resources.

- Co-ordinate end to end production and raw material planning for in-house private label manufacturing facility.

- Improve processes to control slow moving, near expiry and expired inventory in food and non food products.

- Designing and implementing the right metrics/ dashboards to bring visibility and continuously improve performance.

- Define and implement scalable automation solutions to help manage day-to-day planning processes.

Skill and Competencies:

- Strong capabilities of working with data Spreadsheets/SQL, Google Sheets for data analysis and PPT/Tableau/Power BI for presentation of analysis.

- Prior experience in working with large data sets and statistically interpreting it from a business point of view.

- Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, and be comfortable with ambiguity.

- Strong ability to articulate analysis into a business story.

- Proven stakeholder management abilities.

Experience requirement:

- MBA from tier-1 or tier-2 with 2-4 years
