Bored is a suite of Slack games for teams to play together and socialize. We have been getting great feedback for it from our early users, have been featured by Slack and gotten coverage in multiple publications.
We want to build the social + fun layer for remote work with Bored. It is a very new kind of product, and it is a lot of fun, so come be a part of building that.
As a marketing generalist, you will be experimenting with different channels, coming up with buzz marketing campaigns, handling product marketing and generally hustling to get Bored out to as many teams out there.
Responsibilities:
- Experiment with different marketing channels like cold outreach/content/SEO/social/communities to find a channel that's predictable and scales
- Run campaigns to buzz for Bored constantly - given the space we are in, we can really go wild here
- Own product marketing to educate users about our use cases and new features - website, videos, PDFs etc
- Write content both for our own blog and other publications
- Work with external freelancers and agencies to execute different marketing activities
- Define and measure KPIs for the different channels and campaigns
Skills and experience required:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar marketing generalist role in SaaS/consumer product - bonus points for a fun/entertainment product
- Great written communication
- Basic understanding of analytics
- Good taste
