About the Role:
To lead all activities of business development, client identification, customer acquisition and project related activities which will lead to new client acquisitions and repeat business from existing clients specifically in Commercial & Industrial segments.
What will you do?
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential customers for solar power solutions.
- Explore new customer opportunities through industrial hub visits and networking.
- Engage with customers, gather relevant details, and plan regular meetings.
- Assess solar power potential using consumption data and other information.
- Develop tailored proposals for potential clients.
- Build a B2B lead pipeline through research and networking.
- Manage specific business opportunities from start to finish.
- Understand client needs and offer viable solar solutions.
- Stay informed about relevant policies and regulations specific to the market of operations.
- Prepare weekly/ quarterly reports on the sales pipeline and enquiry generation.
- Timely updating the sales CRM for all enquiries.
Minimum candidate requirement-
- 6-8yrs experience
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with B2B client acquisition preferable in capital goods industry.
- Relevant industry experience (power/sustainability/ power trading) is an added advantage, however not mandatory.
- The candidate should be enthusiastic about the renewable energy/sustainability space and willing to learn industry specific skills quickly.
