Sunstone Eduversity - Finance Controller - CA

Key responsibilities :

- Drive the Overall company budget allocation, financial planning and fund management

- Drive the financial planning of the company by continuously analyzing its performance and risks

- Drive the detailed MIS and financial reporting of the company to board and investors

- Work with other business leaders to build the financial strategy and metrics for other cost centers of the company

- Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance team (management accountants, internal auditors etc.)

- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis

- Ensure adherence to all financial and statutory compliances according to financial laws and guidelines

- Assisting in the company's Due Diligence activities conducted on a periodic basis by the investor entities.

- Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.

- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.

What are the skills needed ?

- We are looking for strong finance head with an acute attention to detail, sharp analytical bent of mind and the hustle to make things happen.

- Apart from the above, the following are the skills / experiences that would be helpful.

- Previous finance experience in an established company (preferably 5-7 years)

- Proven experience of driving the finance function in the past

- Excellent excel reporting capabilities

- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices

- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

- CA or equivalent qualification is a must

- Experience in MIS reporting and improving the internal financial processes

- Ability to define clear measurable guidelines for cost center looking at the overall strategy of the company

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
