This role is for a Delivery Manager in Sun Life's Information Technology organization. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of Application Portfolio comprising of Web/E-Business technology &amp; Content Management in Application Operations &amp; Services function. Key responsibility will be to fulfill delivery expectations from all service lines including deployments, change management, incident management &amp; technology renewals within agreed SLAs. Application portfolio includes : - E-Business applications (Client facing) developed in Java &amp; .Net - Content Management Systems e.g. WEM, Adobe - Campaign and branding web deployments for Sunlife Global Marketing teams The team consists of ~20 Technologists supporting Canada &amp; Asia business in production &amp; non-production environment. The incumbent would need to work closely with diversified IT stakeholders to ensure timely and quality deliverables, implementing new technologies as per market trend to solve business problems and enhance client experience by fostering innovation. Core Responsibilities :&nbsp; Delivery Management : - Provide oversight to the Delivery : Sustain/improve the KPIs of Service delivery, develop the delivery nucleus consisting of key technical resources - Strengthen process governance by developing Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) and enable review effectiveness to maintain high quality in deliverables - Enable synergy between Delivery &amp; Operations team to maintain application stability and establish new performance indicators - Consistent focus on growing function's capacity &amp; capability by bringing new technology solutions to solve business problems - Partnering with Practice Managers to ensure that delivery demand days are fulfilled as per the plan and seed new capabilities to meet future technology needs - Transformational mindset to challenge the status-quo and zeal to propose/implement the new ideas People Management : - Assist Practice managers to build skilled resources to meet current &amp; future needs in the function and help in building succession planning and performance management of the key technical resources Eligibility : BE / B. Tech from reputed institute - 12+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5+ years of experience in Delivery, project management and managing technology teams - Core experience in JAVA, CMS, Microsoft Technology development and support Skills : - Manage technology teams in Distributed technologies &amp; Content Management - Experience in Service management - Exposure to DevOps, Agile &amp; Cloud implementations / support - Ability to consolidate information across multiple teams and bring meaningful actions - Demonstrated initiative, creativity &amp; ability to influence - Strong interpersonal, communication, motivational, organizational and planning skills - Ability to seed new capabilities in the team and evolve the teams for future
