Senior Manager, Customer Acquisition  Job Summary :   SunEdison Frontier Power (SEFP) is a new venture launched by SunEdison, the largest global renewable energy development company. Our vision is to transform lives through innovation by bringing energy, connectivity, and water to people and communities in frontier economies. By deploying robust, state-of-the-art technologies in electricity, internet, and water delivery, we will be the leading global full-service utility in off-grid and underserved areas. Over the next five years we aim to leverage SunEdison's expansive commercial platform to build a profitable solar microgrid business that catalyzes economic growth in 15 thousand communities and serves at least 22 million people.  We are looking to fill a Senior level position in India, responsible for developing and executing all activities related to customer acquisition for our microgrids in the region.   Key responsibilities include :  - Developing product offerings and pricing strategies  - Conducting rigorous in-field analysis to select key sites for microgrid development  - Developing a comprehensive community sales strategy for customer acquisition, payment collection, and data analytics.  - Building and managing business development and sales teams across East Africa  - Engaging with strategic stakeholders, including both private and public sector organizations  - Promoting key regulatory policies to enable rapid scale of microgrid development in target regions  Ideal candidates would:  - Have significant experience (10+ years) in the marketing, distribution and sale of products to rural communities in India. Energy-specific experience preferred but not necessary; knowledge of marketing and sales tools/methods for rural applications is critical  - Be entrepreneurial, self-starting, driven, and ready to tackle major challenges  - Have 5+ experience managing teams  - Bachelors degree required.
